A high-stakes complete renovation was performed on the historic swimming pool at Rock Springs 4-H Camp, a centerpiece of the property since 1946. The massive 60′ x 120′ sectional concrete vessel was losing over 7,000 gallons of water per day due to decaying infrastructure and failed expansion joints. This transformative restoration project, executed by Mid-America Pool Renovation, saved the original structure while adding modern attractions and bringing the facility into full commercial and safety compliance.
“A Schmidt Hammer Test showed that with the exception of the diving well floor, the rest of the structure had Compressive Strength readings in excess of 4,000 psi… The entire pool was re-surfaced with reinforced polymeric INTER-GLASS®.”
