Understanding Your Investment

Every pool renovation is a significant investment, and choosing the right contractor involves more than comparing prices. The quality of the preparation, materials, installation, and craftsmanship all influence how your pool will look, perform, and endure for years to come.

For nearly 40 years, Mid-America Pool Renovations has focused on doing the job right the first time. We invest in experienced crews, quality materials, proven installation methods, and thorough surface preparation because we believe the true value of a renovation is measured long after the project is complete.

The estimate above is intended to provide a realistic planning range based on the information you provided. While our investment may not always be the lowest, our goal has never been to be the lowest-priced contractor. Our goal is to deliver exceptional craftsmanship, clear communication, lasting durability, and a renovation you can enjoy with confidence for years to come.

As you compare proposals, we encourage you to look beyond the initial investment and consider the contractor's experience, workmanship, warranty, communication, and long-term results. We believe an informed decision is the best investment you can make.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can MAPR provide a proposal without visiting our facility?

Yes. For many projects, we can prepare a detailed proposal using your pool measurements and a discussion of the work you’d like completed. More complex renovations may require a site visit, but many resurfacing and renovation projects can be quoted without one.

Our proposals are designed to provide dependable pricing. In most cases, pricing only changes if the project scope changes or unforeseen existing conditions are uncovered after work begins.

We’ll help you evaluate your options, prioritize improvements, and develop a renovation plan that fits your goals and budget.

For many projects, all we need are your pool measurements, a few photos, and a conversation about what you’re hoping to accomplish. If additional information or a site visit would help us provide a more complete proposal, we’ll let you know.

Pricing is influenced by several factors, including:

• Pool size and depth
• Condition of the existing surface
• Whether the pool has paint or another existing coating
• Whether full surface removal is required
• The finish material you choose
• Additional repairs or renovation work
• Accessibility
• Project location

Absolutely. Many clients spread renovations over multiple years by prioritizing the highest-impact improvements first. We’ll help you identify what should be addressed now and what can be planned for future phases.

Many pool renovations begin months before work actually starts. Planning early gives you time to evaluate options, establish budgets, obtain approvals, and choose the renovation timing that works best for your facility.

Proposal turnaround times vary depending on the scope of the project, but many proposals can be prepared within just a few business days. More complex renovations may require additional information before a proposal is finalized.
